Personal Injunctions

Emergency remedies can apply to either a person or their finances.
At FLS we understand that within relationships one party can be subjected to domestic abuse by another. Domestic abuse can include:

• Actual bodily harm
• Threats of violence
• Intimidation
• Harassment

We can react quickly to such situations by applying for a Non-molestation order and/or an Occupation order. The first order protects a person from further domestic abuse. The later prevents a person from coming into contact with the victim by limiting their distance. Applications can be made without the abuser’s knowledge. Top

Financial Injunctions

Regrettably, in matrimonial finances some spouses try to hide or dissipate joint and individual assets so as to prevent the other spouse from making a claim on the same. At FLS we need to protect the assets and we can act quickly to "freeze" assets so that no party can deal with them without the courts knowledge. Top
